As a pure first-generation Construct, he was created, and not born. If anything is to be claimed as his originator, it is the raw magic that came together under the right circumstances to lead to his creation and Waking. His body is made of solid, and heavy, gemstone. His legs are not fully connected - there is a gap of space where his legs should attach to the rest of his body - but they move as if that space is not empty. Where ears would be on a flesh-and-blood Kat, he has instead antlers that bend back and curve upward.
His body, being made of gemstone, can be manipulated by those who have the power to alter crystal/gemstone.
While his body made appear fragile, he is in fact not at all fragile. He's fallen from great distances and walked off without a single crack in his body, and has withstood the full force of a Strength Kat's curiosity (and super-strength hit). It would seem his body is practically invulnerable to physical harm, but he's not had a chance to test how he stands against the magical.
